I was in charge of creating a logo and branding materials for a yearly multi-day symposium held at Disney Consumer Products. It had to be playful while still maintaining a sophisticated, professional feel. I chose the asterisk as a graphic representation of the spark of inspiration you get with a great idea. That asterisk then became a playful graphic element for the branding of the event.
